Michael G Hill is the owner and president of Scientific Pest Control and
Termite Inc. Being in the service industry with Walt Disney World Pest Control, Mr. Hill has had extensive training in customer service. In college, he earned
an Associate Degree in Pest Control Technology and studied under an entomologist named Doug Palmer, who ran all the pest control tutoring schools for the state exams and was the professor of entomology at Broward Community College. This education was priceless because of the revolutionary practices in pest control that were going on at that time in Florida in 1991. The program is no longer offered and there is no where to go to get an education like that in the State of Florida unless you become an entomologist. The many lectures that came from owners of successful companies and the hands on experience in the lab studying insects and their behavior have been an inspiration.

Armed with that degree and experience Mr. Hill sought out to revolutionize pest control practices by inventing Scientific Pest Control in 1991. In the initial stages of the companies’ evolution, Scientific Pest Control accepted the worst infestations of termites the state had ever seen. Battling in the trenches with many technicians over the years he has seen every problem in Florida and has withstood the years where many other companies have failed.

In the eighties Florida had no effective way of treating termite infestations and many companies were involved in lawsuits and actually having to fold under the pressure. Termites were winning the battle and it was a serious problem. Some of the companies were cheating clients and defrauding consumers so bad that the state had to step in. Termite damage had become so serious that it was the most destructive problem in Florida even more than thunderstorms, lightning and fire combined.

All these problems only strengthened Scientific Pest Control. After learning
how to overcome Termite infestations with their practice, Scientific Pest control has never had a single complaint unanswered in its 16 year history. In fact
there has never been a single action or fine taken by the department of Agriculture who regulates pest control companies in Florida against Scientific Pest Control. Every customer of Scientific Pest Control who has had a claim for termite damage has been compensated fully and claims have all been taken care of in a timely manner and it is a record that Scientific Pest Control
is proud of.

Furthermore, Scientific Pest Control kept excited about the companies’ success by staying in the field with the technicians. In its 16th year Scientific Pest Control hopes to educate more clients than ever before by being there to answer the many questions that people have about their home and pests.
